The Business of Airlines
Once upon a time there were many, many airlines flying all around the United States and the world. Now that story sounds like a fairy tale in the wake of airline consolidation. Where there were about a dozen major airlines not that long ago there are now only a handful in the US. The latest to fall is US Airways as it merges with American Airlines.
BABTA’s guest speaker is an expert on this subject. Holly Hegeman is a noted consultant and commentator about what is going on in the airline industry. Please join BABTA as we welcome Holly to the Bay Area to enlighten us with the latest airline commentary. She is always very forthright in her evaluations and observations. Come prepared with questions.
