About Cara Whitehill:

  • Cara is a Go-To-Market exec for B2B SaaS companies, helping catalyze growth through commercially-driven product marketing strategy to scale the business post-product/market fit. She has taken early-stage startups from 0-1 and larger organizations from $10m-$100m+ in revenue growth.

  • As a former leader at Expedia, Travelocity, Deem and venture-backed tech startup Traxo, she has deep expertise running GTM functions for organizations of all sizes, spanning Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Sales & Account Success, Product Marketing, and Product Management. She is a strong team builder, coach, and mentor who cultivates a collaborative work environment built on a foundation of creativity, curiosity, and innovation.

  • An established thought leader in the travel & hospitality technology sector and a frequent speaker and panelist at industry events, Cara is a Phocuswright Innovation Summit judge and LeadHER mentor, a Phocuswire contributor and was honored as a 2018 “Woman You Should Know” by Business Travel News.

  • Outside of the travel tech industry, Cara is an early-stage angel investor and founder of Unlock Advisors, backing pre-seed and seed-stage startups in the Travel & Hospitality, Healthcare, Enterprise Software, and Fintech sectors. She is active in investor communities including On Deck, Queen City Angels, and Thayer Ventures.
