The Evolution of BusinessTravel
In 1809 Charles Darwin said, “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to the change”. Due to innovation the needs of a Corporate Travel Program, and the business traveler it supports, continues to change. What you know about current technology and upcoming innovation, plus how you adapt to these changes will determine who is among the “survival of the fittest”. Don’t get left behind with the caveman, be sure to join BABTA and SVBTA as we prepare you for the future and explore The Evolution of Business Travel. Register now!

Session 1: “ Latest on Blockchain and Travel”
“Blockchain”, “NDC”, “One Order”- we hear these phrases regularly but do we really know what they are and, more importantly, how these protocols are going to affect travel? In this session, Oren and friends will ensure we have an entertaining session, and will that we have deeper understanding of what is coming. We will define blockchain and its potential uses in the travel industry, and dive into the impact of NDC on airfare bookings and discuss One Order.

Session 2: “A.I. Powered Travel Program”
In the coming years A.I. powered automation will have great impact on the whole traveler journey. Booking engines with conversational interface allow the user to communicate their needs much more specifically, while A.I. algorithms pick up the traveler’s context and learn more about their personal preferences with each interaction. During the talk we’ll look at use cases that illustrate what sets the A.I. booking experience apart from traditional self-service via OBT or OTA. We’ll also discuss how A.I. redefines traveler-agent interactions and operations within the TMC.

“Disruption” is probably the hottest word you hear in the technology world. Corporate travel industry is no exception. We are overloaded with updates on blockchain, artificial intelligence and personalization for corporate travel. We invite few innovative new comers that made the news headlines recently, and top TMCs who boast their capability and knowledge in this space to discuss the travel industry disruption and reinvention.
