and BABTA Board of Director Elections!
Charles Schuler, Director of Marketing & Communications | External Affairs Office at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) will provide crucial updates about airport growth and development. He will provide key construction and service updates that will affect you and your travelers.
Also joining us will be Mark Chandler, Director of the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of International Trade and Commerce, to discuss the importance of business travel to the Bay Area, as well as provide updates on key City initiatives to improve San Francisco’s position as a business and leisure destination.
Very importantly, our annual Board of Directors election is coming due in October. Check with past president Greg Sweeney if you’re interested in running for a board position. Meet the candidates for the BABTA Board at the October meeting!

Hard Hat Tour of Terminal 1 - Limited to 20 People!
Phase 1 of the $2.4 billion Terminal 1 redevelopment project is well under way and is slated to open July 2019. SFO has arranged a special behind-the-scenes hard hat tour of the new 9 gates after the meeting on October 18th.
The tour is limited to 20 people and will start promptly at 1:30pm. It is an active construction site, so participants will need to wear closed-toe shoes and no flowing clothing. Hard hats, safety glasses and vests will be provided. The tour should last about 1 hour.
