Scholarship Opportunities

BABTA supports the pursuit of professional certification through the Global Business Travel Association’s programs and educational offerings. Due to our affiliation with GBTA, GBTA Foundation (formerly Institute of Business Travel Management) and the CPC (Chapter President’s Council), we are able to offer educational scholarships for a variety of programs in addition to our local BABTA scholarships.

2022 BABTA GBTA Convention Scholarships

BABTA has committed to offering Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) convention scholarships to its members. We recognize the value of education in our industry and hope that this opportunity will help you to continue your professional goals.

GBTA Convention Scholarships

BABTA is offering two scholarships for complimentary convention registration, each for one Allied member and one Direct/Corporate member to attend the 2022 Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Convention. This year’s GBTA Convention will be held in San Diego, California, August 14-17, 2022.

Applications for the 2022 Scholarship for complimentary registration will be accepted through 5PM on Friday, June 3, 2022. Please click here to apply online (you must be logged in as a member to the BABTA website to access the application). Notifications will be sent out by Friday, June 10, 2022.

Eligibility Requirements

• Allied members must be a BABTA or All Access Member
• Direct Members must be an All Access Member, as membership is required for direct members to attend Convention.

• Scholarship covers registration only, all other expenses are the responsibility of the recipient.

Chapter Presidents Council Scholarships

CPC scholarship grants are awarded to qualified individuals to pursue involvement in the education programs or membership within the Global Business Travel Association. To apply for a CPC scholarship click here.
