LANGHAM HOTELS & RESORTS OPENING IN SAN FRANCISCO!

We are very excited to represent Langham Hospitality Group at the BABTA/SVBTA Joint Meeting. Having this unique opportunity to meet with some of the most influential travel buyers in the Bay Area is especially important to our brand because soon many of you will be our neighbour. In 2021 we will open our first hotel in San Francisco – The Langham, San Francisco in the thriving SoMa neighbourhood.. This mixed use development will be located at 555 Howard Street, opposite the Transbay Transit Center, and will be designed by the world renowned architectural sensation Renzo Piano.
The Langham, San Francisco will be very strategically located for corporate travelers. Locals have described the Transbay neighborhood in SoMa as the new ground zero for business in San Francisco and, arguably, the world’s New Economy. Many technology companies as well as other businesses are already today headquartered in the area. The Hotel will also be within walking distance of The Moscone Convention Center, which is in the midst of a $500 million upgrade that will result in 1.5 million square feet of convention space. That said, Renzo Piano’s vision in designing The Langham, San Francisco focuses on creating a building that is loved by the people of the city, activates it location and is activated by it. The Transbay neighborhood already boasts active nightlife and benefits from its proximity to SF MOMA. We therefore envision that the hotel has great potential to become a desirable venue for leisure travelers and local patrons alike.
Not since our brand unveiled The Langham, Chicago have we introduced a new build hotel in the United States. It joins our other US hotels – Langham Place, New York; The Langham, Boston; The Langham Huntington, Pasadena – as part of our thriving portfolio that also includes locations in world capitals such as London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Sydney, and will soon include our first Texas hotel (Langham Place, Wade Park outside of Dallas); along with locations in Dubai, Bangkok, Jakarta and Tokyo, among others.
