The Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport has just completed a top-to-bottom, multimillion-dollar renovation, unveiling completely transformed guest rooms, public spaces, meetings and events spaces, and an innovative culinary and beverage program. Highlights of the newly-renovated hotel include:

  • Prime location: The renovation has been undertaken to meet a growing need for upscale accommodations close to San Francisco International Airport, and at the hotel’s prime location between Silicon Valley and San Francisco, where more and more travelers are beginning to look instead of urban hotels.

  • Group offerings: Now able to accommodate groups up to 2,200 with 69,285 square feet of flexible function space, the property is a premiere destination for meetings and events, and one of the largest group venues in the Bay Area. Two new ballrooms were introduced with the renovation: The Sequoia Ballroom — which has the capability to combine with the hotel’s vast central atrium for an event space unlike any other — and The Cypress Ballroom, both of which feature striking views of the bay.

  • Upscale dining: The hotel's new beverage-centric restaurant concept, 3SIXTY, emphasizes local, sustainable ingredients and seamlessly incorporates three components: a bar, bistro and market. An expansive bar is the heart of the 3SIXTY experience, featuring a wide selection of local and regional craft brews, as well as travel-inspired cocktails. The restaurant and market offer first-class culinary options, sourcing ingredients from beloved local purveyors in the Bay Area, such as Pt. Reyes, Cowgirl Creamery, Hog Island, and more.

  • Inspired design: The hotel’s stunning new design pays homage to the property’s unique location on the San Francisco Bay with details inspired by the juxtaposition of the bay and nearby salt marshes overlaid by the city grid of San Francisco. Tranquility and nature underscore the design, highlighted by a cool-toned palette of blues and grey. The design is accented by a curated collection of artwork in varying mediums by local San Francisco Bay artists, each piece inspired by the area’s unique natural surroundings.

  • Focus on connectivity: A key element of the transforming the hotel’s public spaces was keeping connectivity in mind, and paying close attention to the mobile ways in which people now work. The communal central atrium offers stadium style seating with built-in outlets, and seating areas designed to be rearranged to fit any type of group. These types of spaces allow for impromptu, casual meetings among professionals, fostering a sense of community while allowing individuals to be connected and work in a flexible environment.
